Refund & Cancellation Policy
How DevPath subscriptions renew, how to cancel, and when refunds apply.
Effective: [EFFECTIVE DATE — set on approval]
1. Subscriptions
DevPath Pro is a recurring subscription billed through Stripe for the billing period you select (e.g. monthly). Subscriptions auto-renew at the then-current price until canceled.
2. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings (the customer portal). When you cancel:
- future renewals stop;
- your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period;
- after that, your account returns to the Free plan.
3. Refunds
[SET THE REFUND POLICY WITH YOUR LAWYER — this is a placeholder. A common approach: a 14-day money-back guarantee for a first-time subscriber's initial payment, and otherwise no refunds for partial billing periods once a period has begun. Note that some jurisdictions (e.g. the EU/UK) grant statutory cancellation/withdrawal rights that may override a "no refund" rule — the final policy must comply with the consumer laws of the places you sell to.]
To request a refund covered by the approved policy, contact [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your account email and the charge date.
4. Failed or past-due payments
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and your subscription may be marked past due. Pro access can be suspended until payment succeeds. If it is not resolved, the subscription may be canceled and the account returned to Free.
5. Price changes
We may change subscription prices on prospective notice. Changes apply from your next billing period; you can cancel before then if you do not agree.
6. Chargebacks and disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at [SUPPORT EMAIL] — we will try to resolve it quickly. [CONFIRM how disputes/chargebacks are handled.]
